Once again, the Municipality of Ampelokipi-Menemeni entrusted me with the entire project with the aim of highlighting the completion of fifty (50) years since the first major international meeting of Roma representatives (London, April 1971). With the assistance of the Deputy Mayor's Office for Culture, we created an anniversary video clip, based on the Song "Ederlezi", which is a reference point of Roma music and was internationally recognized by the renowned artists, Emir Kusturica and Goran Bregovic.
The video, following the chronological footsteps of Roma culture, was shown on Friday, April 23, 2021 at 7pm, on the day of the feast of Saint George, during which the Roma welcome spring, and on May 3, 2021 at 7pm, where this year the Feast of Saint George will be especially honored, as a movable feast.
